The Cleveland Job Fair

The Cleveland Job Fair is an opportunity for Cleveland’s employers with available IT positions to showcase career opportunities to talent from inside and outside the region. This web-based event is free of charge to job seekers, giving employers a wide pool of diverse candidates from which to choose.

The last Cleveland Job Fair for the IT sector ran in of 2012. At this time registration is not open for future events and there is no plan for a similar upcoming job fair to recur. 82% of tech companies in Cleveland have current job openings, while another 73% plan to add staff in the next few months. Jobs in IT typically pay an average of 80k to 110k yearly, depending on the specific position. Additionally, studies have shown that in today's age, even when the economy takes a downturn, the IT sector survives, even growing in some instances.

Although we don't have plans to run a job fair right now, to give you an idea, we've included information surrounding the costs for posting jobs the last time we ran the job fair. A basic listing cost $275 and included 3 online job postings for candidates and unlimited postings for interns. Each additional post after the initial three would be charged at $50. We also offered an enhanced listing for $525. Enhanced listings enabled members to have a listing in our directory with a description of their company. This listing page would house any jobs posted by the company. This is in addition to any services provided under a basic listing arrangement.
